Cuero y Tiara es un espectáculo teatral en clave musical que expone dos esencias de la posmodernidad.
Dividido en dos actos bien diferenciados (y cuasi antagónicos), el show entremezcla elementos de la comedia musical, el teatro y estilos musicales como el flamenco, el tango y el reggae. La tiara simboliza lo fugaz, lo global y lo superficial de la actualidad: la necesidad de gustar y permanecer joven y bello a cualquier costo. El cuero es ese punto de escape en donde, el tanto aparentar finalmente explota y pone a los individuos en un plano más real: su verdadera condición. Somos como somos. Cantamos con lo que hay. Cantamos con el alma.
En un marco musical de humor y entretenimiento, Cuero y Tiara invita a los espectadores a reflexionar y sentir la realidad.
Cuero & Tiara (Leather and Tiara) is a play which exposes two essences of the postmodern world in which we live in. Divided into two different (and almost antagonist) acts it includes elements of the musical theatre and different musical genres such as flamenco, tango and reggae.
The tiara symbolizes the briefness and superficial aspects of the actual globalized world. Is the need to stay young and beautiful and to be eternally liked and loved by others.
On the other hand, the Leather represents the moment and place where we can pretend anymore and we express ourselves from our real soul. We are what we are and we sing and interact from what emerges in the present moment.
With humor, music and entertainment, Cuero and Tiara invites the audience to reflect upon the way in which individuals act in the contemporary society.
